On your headset

Your progress (which islands you have woken, your best results and any island in progress), your settings and your Lantern Festival profile (the name you typed and your lamplighter's look) are saved in the game's own storage on your headset. They never leave it, except as described under Lantern Festival below. Uninstalling the game deletes them.

Hand and head tracking

The game reads your hand and head positions from the headset to let you touch, point and pinch, and to place you in the scene. In single-player play this information is used on the headset only, while you play, and is not stored or sent anywhere.

The game uses network permissions only for this local play. It does not connect to the internet.

Children

Lanternwake does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. In a Lantern Festival, other players see the name you type, so choose a name you are happy for people nearby to see.
